Are you bitten by integration and EDI? Then read on, because at C&W Logistics we are looking for an enthusiastic EDI specialist to support and expand our retail EDI platform. This is how we respond to growing customer demand on our platform.

At C&W, you will join a West Flemish growth company specialising in logistics software, with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as its core business.  In addition, C&W has been an EDI provider since 2016. As an EDI specialist, you will set up connections and mappings with partners via our in-house developed tools. You will ensure that these are always kept up to date and also further develop them together with the team. Our integration tool, developed in .NET, is also used by all our WMS customers for integration with other systems (ERP, TMS, external ...). You will also work on this, allowing a healthy variation between retail EDI and other ‘Electronic Service Bus’ (ESB) integrations. If you have experience with C# programming, you will get the chance to be at the basis of further developments to the platform.

If desired, and if you combine your technical skills with a commercial flair, prospecting or giving customer demonstrations could also be part of your new job.

These skills we expect

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in applied computer science or electronics-ICT and you have several years of relevant experience in IT.
  • You are familiar with transport protocols such as AS2, SFTP, X400 and HTTP, as well as the EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOM, SAP Idocs, etc. file formats.
  • Knowledge of C#, SQL and XQuery language is definitely a plus.
  • You communicate fluently and report in a clear, structured manner.
  • You are a crack problem-solver.
  • You enjoy learning on the job and are a genuine team player.
